FDOT #57 Stone (FDOT Code C10)

Our #57 limestone meets the gradation requirements of the of the Florida Department of Transportation’s Standard Specifications Rule 14-103.006 – Section 5. Pg 8. 1.1.4 Section 901. The nominal size of this product is 0.5 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Our #57 limestone is primarily used in ready mixed concrete mix designs that require FDOT approval. These mix designs normally include FDOT projects and can include driveways, sidewalks, drainage gutters, bridges, and many more. This coarse aggregate is certified for use in FDOT concrete mix designs requiring # 57 limestone.

FDOT Limestone Screenings / Manufactured Sand (FDOT Code F20)

Our F20 Screenings meet the gradation requirements of the of the Florida Department of Transportation’s Standard Specifications for Road & Bridge Construction – Section 901-1.4. The average size of this product is 0.001 to 0.25 inches in diameter. This fine aggregate is certified for use in FDOT asphalt mix designs requiring F20 screenings.

FDOT Limestone Shell Base Material (FDOT Code B11)

Our B11 Limerock Shell Base Material meets the gradation requirements of the of the Florida Department of Transportation’s Standard Specifications for Road & Bridge Construction – Section 914-1. The size of this material ranges from 1.5 inches down to dust. This product is certified as a road base material for all FDOT construction projects. The Limerock Bearing Ratio (LBR) of this material normally runs >150. The fact that our Limerock Shell Base is graded so that 100% is finer than 2 inches allows contractors the ability to reduce the time needed to reach 100% compaction.

Commercial Grade #57 Limestone

Commercial Grade #89 Limestone

Our Commercial #89 limestone is primarily used in ready mixed concrete mix designs that do not require FDOT approval. These mix designs normally include driveways, sidewalks, drainage gutters, residential house slabs, and many more. The average size of this product is 0.25 – 0.375 inches in diameter.

These mix designs normally include driveways, sidewalks, drainage gutters, residential house slabs, and many more. The average size of this product is 0.001 – 0.25 inches in diameter.

Select Fill & Embankment Fill

Our Select / Embankment Fills are used primarily as a backfill for dikes, house slabs, driveways, drain fields, and trenches. This material is clean of organic material and meets gradation requirements for the US Army Corps of Engineers Herbert Hoover Dike Projects. The Uniformity Coefficient of this material is >10.

Wash Out Sand / Lake Fill / White Fill

Our fine sands are used primarily as a clean, washed fill or as beach sand. This product contains a high percentage of naturally occurring silica sand as well as some fine, washed limestone. It can also be used as a silica filler for commercial asphalt mix designs.

Washed Gabion Stone

Our Gabion Stone size is 4-6 inches. Our Gabion is a washed stone product. It is used for stabilizing wet areas where drainage is required. Gabion stone can be used to fill gabion baskets as well or used where small clean rip-rap is needed to stabilize banks along flowing or tidal action water to impede erosion.

Screened Topsoil

Screened topsoil is used where pieces larger than 3/4” are required to be removed and makes spreading and working the topsoil easier.

Unscreened Topsoil

This product contains a high percentage of organic soils and a small percentage of limestone. It can be used as a fill product on many residential or commercial projects.

LBR 40 fill

Screened fill with a LBR minimum value of 40 is to be used where contractor specification require a minimum LBR value for fill. This product is also used for soil cement applications.

Rough Fill

Unprocessed overburden includes some rock, some topsoil, and some sandy loam. This product is for filling in low areas such as house or office pads where base rock or LBR 40 materials will be applied over this product for final grades.

Commercial Base Rock

Our commercial base rock contains 100% passing the 3 1/2″ screen and slightly more than 70% passing the #4 screen. Commercial base rock is used for road way applications.
